Every month Miss Hills (English Lead) selects a newly released book to go on display in our school library. She provides background information about the author and links to other books.
During library sessions the book of the month is read aloud to the children - they always look forward to these story times; being given the opportunity to discover a new author or simply listening to a newly released book, written by an already much-loved author.
Our book for the month of March is "The Invisible" by Tom Percival (published by Simon and Schuster). It is a lovely story about really seeing those around us and how we all have the right to belong.
'Slug in Love' by Rachel Bright (published by Simon & Schuster)
'The Barefoot King' by Andrew Jordan Nance (published by Bala Kids)
'My Best Friend' by Rob Hodgson (published by Frances Lincoln Children's Books)
'Blue' by Britta Teckentrup
'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers
