Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

The Government introduced the Pupil Premium Grant in April 2011. This grant, which is received each financial year, is additional to main school funding, and is allocated to schools per pupil whose families are in receipt of free school meals, children who are looked after and children whose parents are in the armed forces.
It is intended to address the underlying inequalities facing children who are, or have been, eligible for free school meals (FSM). It is designed to ensure that this extra funding reaches the children that need it most. Schools use this additional funding to support these pupils to raise aspirations and educational outcomes.
Schools can decide how the Pupil Premium is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils within their responsibility.
At Dinglewell Infant School we support all of our pupils to do their best regardless of their background by providing high quality teaching, supplemented by interventions to support vulnerable learners as and when required. The Governing Body monitors the impact of all spending and interventions, including the Pupil Premium Grant.
Your child may be entitled to Free School Meals – see the document below to check if you are eligible (Pupil Premium Eligibility)
