A very warm welcome to our school website. Dinglewell Infant School is a large Infant School with 270 pupils aged between 4 and 7 years old and is located on the outskirts of Gloucester, in Hucclecote.

We aim to treat every child as an individual and provide a secure, safe, happy, welcoming and thriving environment. We offer exciting learning experiences which have creativity at the heart.

This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community. Our Aims

At Dinglewell Infant School we aim:

• To create a happy and secure environment with a carefully balanced and differentiated  curriculum
• To foster good relationships between children, staff, parents and Governors in order to support the academic and social objectives of the school
• To stimulate and develop children’s use of number, language and speech, writing skills and reading fluency
• To develop the children’s natural curiosity of the world around them through science and technology
• To develop creativity through all areas of the curriculum including music, drama, art and dance
• To cater for the children’s physical needs in P.E., games, hygiene and health education
• To foster an enjoyment of all aspects of learning and to develop the child’s lively and enquiring mind to enable him/her to question and discuss rationally with others
